The officer did not kick the car. He put out his foot to stop the car and the car ran through him and fled the scene. Felony charges are warranted.

Seriously, the news people did nothing to cover the officer lying, false arrest, his attack on the driver's car leading the driver to feel unsafe....They did not address this except at the very end, and very minimally. This guy should not face a damn thing. We don't have audio, so I'm going to guess whatever transpired prior to the kick may have led the driver to do what he needed to do. I can't say for sure, but the charges flat-out need to be dropped completely.
